Jeannette (Turner) Erskine of Needham died on Monday December 17, 2007 at the Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Needham. Born in Fall River Mrs. Erskine moved to Needham where she attended Needham Schools and graduated from Needham High School. For over 22 years Jeannette was a Crossing Guard with the Needham Police Department. She later was the secretary for the Carter Memorial United Methodist Church in Needham for eight years before she retired. Jeannettte was the beloved wife of the late John W. Erskine who died in 1995. Mother of John W. and Thomas E. Erskine. Sister of Margaret Davenport of Hudson. Mother in law of Sally Erskine of Rumford, RI. Grandmother of Jennifer Blanchett, Melissa Kennedy and great grandmother of three. Funeral services at the Eaton Funeral Home 1351 Highland Ave Needham on Wed December 19th at 1:30 PM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting hours Wed from 12:30-1:30 PM prior to the service. Interment Needham Cemetery.
