Alexander J. Migliozzi, age 81 of Medford, died Friday in the Melrose/Wakefield Hospital of Melrose, after a lengthy illness.
Born in Boston, he was the son of the late Clemente and Maria (Sacco) Migliozzi. He served in the Army from 1/21/1943 to 4/15/1946.Mr. Migliozzi was a resident of Medford since 1959, formerly of the North End of Boston. He was a World War 2 veteran serving from 1943 to 1946. Alexander was a member of the VFW Post of BostonĀ“s North End. He was an Electrician working for the Navy Yard from 1954 until 1974, and the Commonwealth of MA from 1974 to 1986.
He is survived by his sons Alex of Medford, John and his wife Deborah J. of Reading. Also survived by two loving grandchildren Jennifer & Christopher. Brother of Felix if Hyde Park and the late Nick and Gus.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD, Monday at 8 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. James Church 779 Fellsway, Medford at 9 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Sunday 3 thru 8. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
