Neuschwanter, Ruth M. (nee) Dorsey age 89 of New Milford formerly of Weehawken died Monday, December 10, 2007. Beloved wife of the late Christian Neuschwanter. Devoted mother of Ruth Atkinson and her husband Curtis, and Chris Schimel and her husband Richard. Dear sister of Claire Donohue of Ocean Beach and Patricia Clark of East Windsor. Loving grandmother of six including Christi Schimel of New Milford. Ruth was an active volunteer with the Red Cross and a member of the Republican Clubs of New Milford and Weehawken. She was also an active seamstress for her community. Funeral service Thursday, 10AM at the Volk Leber Funeral Home, 268 Kinderkamack Rd., Oradell. Family and friends are invited to visit Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9. In lieu of flowers donations in her name may be made to the New Milford Volunteer Fire Department, 930 River Rd., New Milford, NJ 07646.
