BEVERLY: Sharon M. (Callahan) Esposito, 53, died Saturday, December 8, 2007 in the Salem Hospital following an extended illness.
Born in Chelsea on September 2, 1954, she was the daughter of Joseph W. and Rose M. (Catoggio) Callahan of Beverly. She had resided in Winthrop for many years before moving to Beverly ten years ago. She was a graduate of Malden High School class of 1972 and graduated with high honors from Salem State College. An amateur artist, she enjoyed working with crafts, calligraphy and jewelry making. She was also a friend of Bill W.
In addition to her loving parents, she is survived by her beloved son, Nicholas Esposito and granddaughter, Mia Esposito, two sisters and brothers-in-law, Susan and Robert Mitton of Beverly and Joanne and Robert LeDonne of Deerfield, NH, two brothers and a sister-in-law, Joseph, Jr. and Kim Callahan of Haverhill and John Callahan of Everett, her dear friend and companion, Anthony Gregory of Winthrop, her former spouse, Robert Esposito of Revere and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Her funeral services will be held on Tuesday evening in the Grondin Funeral Home, 376 Cabot Street, Beverly at 6:30 p.m. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 4 – 6:30 p.m. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the Beverly Bootstraps, 371 Cabot St., Beverly, MA 01915.
