Eunice A. (Cavicchi) Abate, 94, died Thursday December 6th at Jordan Hospital. She was the wife of the late Dr. Frank J. Abate. Born November 27, 1913, she was the daughter of Ernest and Adele Cavicchi. A graduate of Plymouth Schools, Mrs. Abate attended Burdett Business School and worked for Metropolitan Life Insurance Company in Plymouth before her marriage. Mrs. Abate is survived by her daughters Adele Manfredi and her husband Richard of Plymouth and Elizabeth Wansong and her partner Dennis Cargill of S. Hamilton, MA; five grandchildren Marc Manfredi and Erica Manfredi of Plymouth; Andrew Mandredi of Miami, FL; Eric Wansong of Glen Rock, NJ; and Kristin Farrell of Glencoe, IL; and 7 great grandchildren. A visiting hour will be held at the Richard Davis Funeral Home, 37 3 Court St (Rt 3A), N. Plymouth on Monday December 10th from 9:30 to 10:30 AM followed by a funeral mass at St. Mary’s Church in Plymouth at 11 AM. Internment will be at Vine Hills Cemetery in Plymouth. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Jordan Hospital, 275 Sandwich St, Plymouth, MA 02360 or to the Charity of one’s choice.
