the time for the Funeral Mass for Mr. Jones has been changed to 10 a.m. on Monday, December 10, 2007.
His funeral will proceed from the funeral home on Monday, December 10th, at 9 a.m.


TEWKSBURY: Paul Jones, age 84, a resident of Tewksbury for the past 7 years, died Wednesday, December 5, 2007 at the Heritage Manor in Lowell.
He was the husband of Sally (Quirk) Jones who died in 1991.
Born in the Dorchester area of Boston on April 2, 1923, he was the son of the late George and Mary (McDonnell) Jones.
Paul was raised in Dorchester and Watertown and graduated from St. Mary’s Parochial School of Waltham.
Paul enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps and served during World War II with the Marine Air Division until his honorable discharge from active duty on April 15, 1946.
Following his military service, he attended Northeastern University, where he received his degree in business administration in 1952. He later took graduate level courses at the University of Louisville in Kentucky.
He resided in Somerville and Reading for over 40 years until moving to Tewksbury in 2000.
While living in Reading he attended St. Agnes Church.
Prior to his retirement, he was employed by the Cains Food Corporation of Ayer having previously worked for the First National Store (Finast) in Somerville for 22 years.
According to his family, he enjoyed all sports especially hockey, football, downhill and cross country skiing. In addition, he loved spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by three daughters, Caryl E. Bonaiuto and her husband Albert of Tewksbury, Caryn L. Yopchick and her husband Stephen of Haverhill and Deborah Jones of Kirkland, WA; four grandchildren; Sean and Alicia Yopchick and Nicholas and Bryant Bonaiuto.
Calling hours Sunday, December 9th, from 2-5 p.m. at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury. Funeral Monday, December 10th, at 9:00 a.m. from the funeral home, followed by his Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. at St. William’s Church, 1351 Main St., Rte. 38, Tewksbury. Interment at Charles Lawn Memorial Park, Reading.
