Carol A. Nawn, 63, of E. Bridgewater, MA died Saturday, December 1, 2007 at her home. Ms. Nawn was born in Brighton, MA on August 1, 1944, a daughter of the late Joseph J. and Eva J. (Lessard) Pacitto. She was a resident of E. Bridgewater for 10 years, having formerly been a longtime resident of Windham, NH and Derry, NH. Carol was devoted to her family. She enjoyed reading, travel, movies, shopping, scrabble and crocheting. She especially enjoyed spending time with her children and spoiling her grandchildren.
She is survived by a son, Stephen Nawn, Jr. and his wife Susan of Bedford, NH, three daughters, Eva-Marie (Nawn) Lee and her husband Christopher of Derry, Susan (Nawn) Hoenig and her husband David of Derry, Nancy (Nawn) O'Leary and her husband Christopher of Londonderry, NH, four grandchildren, Mackenzie, Meagan and Delaney O'Leary of Londonderry, Nikolas Hoenig of Derry, a brother, Robert Pacitto and his wife Bonnie of E. Bridgewater, and also by many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Joan L. (Pacitto) Jasinski.
Visiting hours were held Wednesday, December 5th from 5-8pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. A funeral service was held on Thursday at 10:00am in the funeral home with cremation following. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Memphis, TN 38018.
