Mary B. (Barboza) Pacheco, 91, of Dartmouth died Sunday December 2, 2007 at Hathaway Manor Extended Care Facility after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Joseph Pacheco.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late John and Mary Barboza, she lived in Dartmouth for many years.
Mrs. Pacheco was formerly employed as a seamstress at the Elco Dress Company.
Survivors include two children, Joseph Pacheco of New Bedford and Mary-Anne Armstrong of Illinois; a brother Ernest Barboza of Dartmouth; four sisters, Olive Teixeira and Laurie Alcrim, both of New Bedford, and Agnes Gaspar and Hilda Cordeiro, both of Dartmouth; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish at St. James Church. Burial will follow in Rural Cemetery.
