WORCESTER__ Albina A. (Barisas) Karol, 83, of Worcester, died Thursday November 29, in Radius Healthcare Center of Worcester, 119 Providence Street. Her husband, Albert F. Karol died in 1989.
She leaves her son, David Karol of Worcester; a brother Walter Barry of Poughkeepsie, NY., a cousin raised with Albina, Helen Lapensee of Worcester and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Edward Barisas and a sister, Anne Reardon. She was born in Worcester, a daughter of Walter and Victoria (Wolkowski) Barisas and lived here all her life.
Mrs. Karol was a homemaker. She graduated from Worcester Girls Trade High School and was a member of Our Lady of Vilna Church
The funeral will be held on Tuesday December 4, from HENRY - DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward Street, with a service at 1:30 p.m. in St. John’s Cemetery Chapel, 260 Cambridge Street. Burial will follow in the cemetery.
