Tony Walker was born in Huntsville, Alabama on April 29, 1976. He was raised by his grandparents, Lucille and James Walker, whom he affectionately and lovingly called “mom and dad.”
Tony loved working with children and during his life worked hand and hand with many youth. Tony will always be known by many of his relatives and friends as a personality that can never be replaced. There was only one Tony and he left us with a ton of laughter and memories.
Tony was baptized at an early age and later started following the Voice of God Fellowship Church Ministry.
Tony leaves behind many who cherish his memories: his mother and father (grandparents), Lucille and James Walker; his biological mother, Katie O’Leary of Detroit, Michigan; his biological father, Harold Walker; two brothers: Harold Walker Jr. and Jeffery Walker; one sister, Felicia O’Leary of Detroit, Michigan, one aunt, one uncle, one nephew, and a host of other relatives and dear friends.
Funeral Services for Mr. Walker will be held Saturday, December 1, 2007 at 1:30 p.m. at the Douglas Tabernacle Primitive Baptist Church, with Apostle Harris officiating. Interment will follow in Meadowlawn Garden of Peace. Mr. Walker will be available for viewing at the church one hour prior to funeral time.
