MILFORD/DUDLEY – Esther “Essie” (Wieloch) Ventola, 60, of 7 Mason Drive, Milford, died Monday, Nov. 26.
She leaves three brothers, Edward C. Wieloch and his wife Beth, Paul Wieloch and his wife Visha, and Leonard J. Wieloch and his wife Ann, all of Dudley; aunts, nieces and nephews,
including two special nephews, Tyler Wieloch and her godson Connor Wieloch.
She was born in Webster and raised in Thompson, the daughter of Raymond S. and Genenieve S. (Gawron) Wieloch. She moved to Dudley in 1964 and lived in Milford since 1989. She was a graduate of Bartlett High School in Webster.
Esther was the office manager at Soil Exploration Corporation in Leominster. She was in charge of organizing company gatherings and liked to be known as the “director of operations.”
She was member and past president of the New England Chapter of Women in Construction Association.
She was a member of Saint Mary’s Church in Milford. She enjoyed crafts, including oil painting. She loved animals and especially cats. She bred, raised and sold Maine coon cats. She was the past president of the Maine Coon Cat Association and a member of the Cat Fanciers Federation.
“Essie” was devoted to her family and to her extended network of friends. She had a wonderful sense of humor and an infectious smile.
The funeral will be held Saturday, December 1, from the Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home,
340 School Street, Webster, with a Mass at 11:30 AM in Saint Andrew Bobola Church, 54 West Main St., Dudley. Burial will be in Saint Joseph Garden of Peace, Webster. Calling hours are from 9:00 to 11:00 AM Saturday, Dec. 1, in the funeral home.
