Marie R. (Simoneau) Tammaro, of Stoneham passed away Thursday, November 20, 2007 at Bearhill Nursing Home, Stoneham. She was 95 years of age.
Born in Salem, Marie was the loving daughter of the late Isaie Simoneau and Laura M. (Bernier) LaPointe . Marie was a warm and caring daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. She will be sadly missed.
Marie was the devoted mother of Nancy Logiudice and her husband Anthony of Swampscott and Joyce E. Melkonian and her husband Alan of Stoneham. She was the cherished grandmother of Bradley Clinton of Louisiana, Paul Logiudice and his wife Jennifer of Swampscott, Laura and Jenna Melkonian both of Stoneham and the loving great grandmother of Mia, William and Anna. Marie was the beloved daughter of the late Isaie Simoneau and Laura M. (Bernier) LaPointe. She was the dear sister of the late Rita Mizzi, Rose Cross, Alfred Simoneau, Lawrence LaPointe and Robert LaPointe. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. STONEHAM, Saturday at 9:00 am followed by a Funeral Mass celebrating Marie’s life in St. Patrick Church 71 Central St., Stoneham at 10am. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend visiting hours Friday 1-3 and 6-8 pm. Parking attendants will be on duty. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery, Salem.
