Adams, Lawrence J. age 71 of New Milford originally of Throggs Neck died Monday, November 19, 2007. Beloved husband and best friend of Diane (nee) Bianchi. Devoted father of Caryl Ann Farrell and her husband Timothy. He was predeceased by his brother Edmund and is survived by his sisters Maureen and Anne and his brother Michael. Loving grandfather of Erin Elizabeth and Kerry Rose. His memory will be cherished by his loving nieces and nephews, family members and his many friends. Lawrence was a Detective with the New York Police Department for 25 years where after his retirement was a member of the NYPD Honor Legion. He was also a US Army Veteran as well as a parishioner at St. Joseph’s RC Church in Oradell. Funeral service Wednesday 8:45AM from the Volk Leber Funeral Home, 268 Kinderkamack Rd., Oradell. Then to St. Joseph’s RC Church for a 9:45AM Mass of Christian Burial. Family and friends are invited to visit Tuesday, 2-4 & 7-9PM. In lieu of flowers donations in his name to Hackensack Hospice Inpatient Unit, 336 Prospect Ave., Hackensack, NJ 07601 are appreciated by the family.
