Jimmy E. Drye, 79, Clarksville, died Saturday, Nov. 17, 2007, at Gateway Medical Center. The funeral will be held at 1pm Monday at Neal-Tarpley Funeral Chapel with Dr. John David Laida and Dr. Roger Freeman officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4pm till 7pm Sunday and from 11am till the hour of service Monday at the funeral home. Neal-Tarpley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born in Montgomery County on March 15, 1928 son of Frank Grey Drye and Margaret Jackson Drye.He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Bill Drye and one sister Dorothy Hunter. He was the retired owner of Paramount "Drye" Cleaners, retired from Memorial Hospital and also worked at Krogers on Madison Street. He is survived by his wife Sue Gregory Drye of Clarksville; four sons Gary(Carla)Drye of Clarksville; Dr. Randy(Betsy)Drye of Columbia, SC; Mark Drye(Amy Flowers)of Ashland City; Don(Sharon)Drye of Murfreesboro;seven grandchildren Brittny, Lacy, Matthew, Kevin, Allyson, Kathryn, Alix Drye. Pallbearers will be Ronnie Hunter, Matthew Drye, Kevin Drye, Walker Gray, David Gregory, Terry Gregory, Bobby Satterfield, Bobby Batson and Cliff Coppedge.
