Obituary


George Vincent Valley, born October 24, 1912, died November 9th.

At the time of his retirement in New York City, Mr. Valley was assistant vice president of The Milwaukee Railroad.

He was predeceased by his wife of 60 years, Madelyn Olive Helm.

He is survived by daughters, Georgia Jimenez, of Naples, Idaho and Mary Jo Poore, of Pawcatuck; grandchildren, Doran Rozen of Tivon, Israel, Victor Jimenez of Newbury, Mass., Christine Brown of Sandpoint, Idaho, and Ashley Hoben of Trumbull; and great-grandchildren, Divonne Rozen, Gordy Brown, Michael Hoben, Colin Hoben and Kyla Brown.

Mr. Valley was a man of nature and a gentle man.

His family wishes to express profound gratitude to the entire staff of Mystic Manor Nursing Home and Lawrence and Memorial Hospital for allowing his last months and last days to be spent with dignity and with comfort.

A private memorial service will be held in the Pacific Northwest.
