Olive (Peters) Oricchio, a former Medford resident, died Sunday at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital. She was 95.
Mrs. Oricchio was born and raised in Prince Edward Island, Canada, the daughter of the late Edward and the late Sophia (Burke) Peters. In her youth her family lived in East Boston. She lived in Cambridge for many years, as well, and worked as a house keeper for the elite of Cambridge. She and her late husband Dominic lived in the Wellington neighborhood of Medford for over 35 years.
Her husband Domenic Oricchio died in 2000. She leaves behind many dear and loving nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law.
Relatives and friends may call Thursday from 4 thru 8 at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford. Procession will gather at the funeral home Friday morning at 8 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Immaculate Conception Church, Malden, at 9 AM. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
