TEWKSBURY - Grace M. (Julian) Iandolo, age 76, a resident of Tewksbury for the last two decades, died Saturday, Nov. 10, at Saints Medical Center in Lowell, after suffering a stroke while at Bingo. She was the wife of Giro Iandolo, Jr., who died on February 14, 1994.
She was born in Malden, on September 10, 1931 one of three children of the late Irving and Evelyn (Luciano) Julian. She was raised and educated in Malden, but lived the greater part of her life in Everett. She moved to Tewksbury in 1987, where she has been a member of the Tewksbury Congregational Church community.
She was retired from the Gillette Co. in So. Boston where she worked as an inspector.
She was an active member of the Tewksbury Senior's community, as a frequent visitor to the Senior Drop-In Center, a member of the Tewksbury Golden Age Club, an active member of the Tewksbury Red Hatter's Society, and enjoyed extensive travel with the Tewksbury Seniors as a member of the "Back of the Bus" group of traveling friends.
She is survived by a son, Kenneth Iandolo of Liverpool, NY; two grandchildren, Thomas Iandolo of Liverpool, NY and Leonard Hunnell, Jr., of Tewksbury; a sister, Arlene "Chicky" Kevill of Malden; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also mother of the late Gail Rose, and sister of the late Harold Julian.
Her funeral service was held on Saturday, Nov. 17, in the Funeral Home. Committal services were private. Kindly omit flowers. Memorials to the Tewksbury Friends of the Elderly, Building Committee, 460 East St., Tewksbury, MA 01876 will be appreciated.
