Kenneth E. Jones. 88, of New Bedford died Thursday November 8, 2007 at Brandon Woods of New Bedford. He was the husband of the late Elsie Dolores (Moore) Jones.
Born in New Bedford, the son of the late Frederick N. and Sadie A. (Carter) Jones, he lived in New Bedford all his life.
Mr. Jones was formerly employed as a mechanic with Freddie Jones Wheel Alignment in New Bedford.
Survivors include five children, Janice E. Jones, Karen L. Jones, Kenneth E. Jones, Jr., and David B. Jones, all of New Bedford, and Stephen R. Jones of Georgia; two brothers, Walter S. Jones and Roger Jones, both of New Bedford; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late Frederick Jones.
His Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday at 12 Noon at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. Visitation Tuesday 11AM- 12 Noon prior to the service. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery. For directions and guestbook, please visit www.saundersdwyer.com.
