Harold Aronson of Revere died after a short illness on November 6th, 2007 at the Lighthouse Nursing Home. He was 81 years old.
Harold was born in Boston and had been a Revere resident since 1981. He was educated in the Boston schools and was a proud World War Two Army Veteran. Harold worked as a head wear manufacturer in the Devon Company in Boston where he was a loyal employee for many years.
Harold was the beloved companion of Elena Palermo of Revere. He was the devoted father of Joel L. Aronson and his wife Denise of Florida, Amy Gleason and her husband David of Leeds, MA and the late Sharlene Vargo. He is the dear brother of Esther Sibulkin of Stoneham and the loving grandfather of Timothy, Benjamin, David, Audry, Elizabeth and Lori.
Services at the Torf Funeral Chapel, 151 Washington Ave. (Cary Sq.), Chelsea on Friday, November 9th at 11:00AM. Rabbi Earl Kideckel will officiate. Internment will follow in Sharon. Contributions in his name may be made to the American Cancer Society, 9 Riverside Road, Weston, MA 02493.
