In Taunton, November 8, 2007 Joseph F. died after a lengthy illness in Morton Hospital at the age of 90. Joseph was the husband of Maria (Meunier) Ventura. Residing in Taunton on Tremont St. the last twenty years and formerly of Raynham. Joseph was born in Cambridge to the late John & Mary (Oliver) Ventura. He was educated in schools in Raynham. Attended Bristol Aggie High School and graduated from the Coyne Electrical School. Joseph loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. He leaves his two children Steven Ventura and his wife Susan of Taunton, Jean Norton and her husband Michael of Assonet and the late Joseph Ventura Jr. He leaves his siblings Mary Gosslin of Plymouth, Florence Cable of Taunton, Janet Fournier of Marstons Mills, John Ventura of Lakeville, Able Ventura of Raynham and the late Georgina Givons, William Ventura, Frank Ventura and Lorraine Ventura. Jospeph was the Grandfather of Joseph, Thomas, Nathan and Maria Ventura, Kerry Gray and Michael Norton and the late Kristen Norton. Joseph is also survived by his five Greatgrandchildren. Funeral services are private at the request of the family. Arrangements are under the supervision of the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home in Taunton.
