Obituary

BEVERLY: Olive L. “Ollie” (Sears) Kopacki, 86, formerly of Hannah Village, Beverly died Tuesday morning, November 6, 2007 in the Harborside Healthcare, Cedar Glen, Danvers. She was the wife of the late Leo J. Kopacki, who died on May 6, 2007.
Born in Lynn on July 27, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Louise (Sparks) Sears. She had resided in Middleton for many years before moving to Beverly in 1992.
Mrs. Kopacki was employed as a medical transcriber at the former Danvers State Hospital for seventeen years. She was also the former Director of the Middleton Council of Aging for thirteen years and a Past-President of the Augustus P. Gardner Post #227 American Legion in Middleton.
She is survived by two nieces, Ann Fabozzi of Amsterdam, NY and Marilyn DiBlasi of Boynton Beach, FL, a nephew, Curt Peters of S. Hamilton and a sister-in-law, Frances Agosta of Amsterdam, NY. and several great-nieces and great-nephews. She was also predeceased by a sister, Verna Peters.
Her funeral services will be held on Tuesday in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Manchester-by-the-Sea at 1:30 p.m. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend. There are no visiting hours. Expressions of sympathy may be made in her memory to the Cedar Glen Resident Council Fund, 44 Summer St., Danvers, MA 01923.
