WORCESTER - Leo P. Toda, 82, of 70 Osceola Ave. died Sunday, January 5 in Holy Trinity Nursing after an illness.
He leaves his wife of 60 years, Theresa (Moran) Toda of Worcester; a son Peter Toda of Auburn; a daughter Loretta Marschner of Worcester; a sister Elizabeth Sotiropoulos of Worcester; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister Sophie Cordista. He was born in North Grosvenordale, CT son of Peter and Anastasia (Yassu) Toda.
Mr. Toda was a veteran of the United States Navy serving during World War II.
He worked for Table Talk Pie Company as a shipper for 40 years, retiring in 1986.
Mr. Toda was a member of St. Nicholas Orthodox Church, Shrewsbury; St. John de Baptist Romanian Orthodox Church of Woonsocket, RI and a former member of the Bakers Union.
The funeral service will be held on Wednesday January 8 at 10 AM in St. Mary's Assumption Albanian Orthodox Church 535 Salisbury Street. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
