Donna M. Thibeau-Sturgis, 56, of Derry, NH died October 25, 2007 at Parkland Medical Center, Derry after a long illness. She was born in Lawrence, MA on February 26, 1951, a daughter of the late Joseph and Alice (Gagnon) Thibeau. Raised in Lawrence, she was a graduate of Lawrence High School. She has resided in Derry for the past five years and had lived most of her life in the Lawrence and Methuen area. Prior to her retirement she had been employed by the former Lucent Technologies as an assembler. Donna was a born-again Christian and was a member of the Trinity Assembly of God Church of Derry and was a volunteer with the Operation Blessing program. She was devoted to her family and spared no effort in keeping close to her grandchildren.
Members of the family include her husband, Gary L. Sturgis of Derry; a son and daughter-in-law, Ryan and Kerri Healy of Methuen, MA; three grandchildren, Zackery Healy, Sean Patrick Healy and Kayla Healy, all of Methuen; a sister, Muriel Thibeau of Salisbury, MA; two brothers, Theodore Thibeau of Windham, NH and Donald Thibeau of Lawrence; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by a brother, Richard and a sister, Jacqueline.
Calling hours were on Monday, October 29th from 4 to 8 PM in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. A funeral service was held Tuesday at 10 AM in the Trinity Assembly of God Church, 53 North Main St., Derry. Following cremation, urn burial was in the Meetinghouse Cemetery, Danville, NH.
