Hampton, New Hampshire – Kenneth J. Naman 79 yrs. died Wednesday October 24,2007 at the Portsmouth Hospital in Portsmouth,NH.
Born in Lawrence, the son of Issa and Selma (Kalil) Naman Kenneth
was a graduate of Tilton School and attended Massachusetts College of Pharmacy. Mr. Naman was co-owner of Naman Pharmacal of Lawrence founded by his father who also owned Namans Drug Store in Lawrence next to the high school. Mr Naman was also a longtime private stock investor.
Kenneth was a member of St. George Eastern Orthodox Church in Lawrence and an active member of the Lawrence Exchange Club.
He also belonged to the Surf Club of Rye, NH, and Seacoast Indoor Tennis Club of North Hampton, NH.
A former resident of Lawrence and Hampton, Mr. Naman is survived by one sister, Alma Naman of Portsmouth, NH, his sister-in-law Jean Naman of Florida and Hampton, one niece Deborah J. and her husband Paul C. Meyer of Chappaqua, NY and Rye, NH, and one nephew Alfred D. Naman of New York City, his longtime companion Julie Malvone of Hampton, NH.
Two grandnieces and one grandnephew many cousins.
Mr. Naman was predeceased by his brother Alfred Naman.
Funeral services will take place on Saturday at 12:30 P.M. in St. George Eastern Orthodox Church in Lawrence with burial to follow in the United Lebanese Cemetery of Andover.
Friends may call on Saturday from 10:30-12:00 PM from the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, Inc. 233 Lawrence Street in Methuen.
