Obituary

DUDLEY– Frank W. “Sonny” Kaminski, Jr., 67, died Thursday, October 18 at home.

He leaves his daughter and her fiancé, Kathleen E. “Peanut” Kaminski and Richard D. Funk, Sr. of Webster; a son and his wife, Keith K. and Kelly Kaminski of Sturbridge; 2 brothers, Donald Kaminski of Dudley and Richard Kaminski of Milbury; a grandson, Richard D. Funk, Jr. and his companion Jamie Lynn Bailey; his best friends Max and Buddy. He was preceded in death by his 3 sisters, Barbara A., Eileen M. and Patricia A. Kaminski.

He was born in Webster, a son of Frank W. and Theresa (Podbielski) Kaminski, Sr. and lived in the Webster-Dudley area his whole life.

Mr. Kaminski worked in the dye house at Cranston Print Works for many years before retiring in 1995.

He was a veteran of the United States Navy, actively serving from 1960 to 1966. He enjoyed gardening. The family would like to especially thank his most thoughtful neighbors Paul and Barbara Lamontagne of Dudley.

The funeral with military honors will be private and at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Childrens Friend Adoption and Family Services, 21 Cedar St., Worcester, MA 01609. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School St., Webster.
