James A. Vytal age 71 of Atkinson, NH, died Monday at the Holy Family Hospital, Methuen, MA.
He was born in Boston, MA, where he grew up and attended schools. He was a resident of Atkinson for the past 13 years, formerly of Windham, NH.
Mr. Vytal owned and operated J & B Graphics in Atkinson, NH. He was very involved with the Masons, especially with the Grand Lodge of Massachusetts, where he was a permanent member and received the Henry Price Medal, was Grand Lecturer, and was the editor of the Trowel Magazine. He also received the Illustrious Stanley F. Maxwell 33rd degree Medal for Distinguished Service from the Massachusetts Council of Deliberation for the Scottish Rites. His list of memberships, accomplishments, and history with the Masons in Massachusetts was remarkable.
He was predeceased by his Wife Barbara A. (Frost) Vytal
He is survived by his Son: Barry J. & his Wife Cindy Vytal of Londonderry, NH
Daughter: Karen L. Hogue of Hooksett, NH
Fiancé: Jean E. Dowling of Merrimack, NH
3 Grandchildren: Brittany & Matthew Vytal, & James D. Hogue
Calling hours will be held Thursday, Oct. 25 from 5-9 PM, with a Masonic Service at 8 PM at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St, Salem, NH.
