Peter A. Russo, age 50 of Woburn formerly of Lyndhurst, NJ, died October 21st in his home following a lengthy illness. He was the beloved husband of Debra A. (Gomez) Russo. Born in New Jersey he was the son of Angela L. (Cestaro) of Woburn and the late Joseph J. Russo.
Mr. Russo was a systems analyst for the A.W. Chesterton Co. of Groveland. Mostly devoted to his family he enjoyed cooking for and spending time with his family and friends. He was an avid sports fan and was especially devoted to the New York Yankees.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by his children, Peter A. Russo Jr. and Renee Russo both of Woburn. He is also survived by his brothers, Joseph S. Russo and his wife Darlene of West Chesterfield, Anthony F. Russo and his wife Mary of Billerica. He is further survived by a nephew and five nieces. He was the cherished son-in-law of Aurora Ramos and grandson-in-law of Eufemia Cruz both of Woburn.
Funeral from the McLaughlin-Dello Russo Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St. Woburn, Thursday, at 9 AM. Followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Charles Church, 280 Main St., Woburn, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Tuesday 6 thru 8 and Wednesday 4 thru 8. Services will conclude with burial at Woodbrook Cemetery, Woburn.
