Kozlowski, sister of the late Abdella J. “Obie” Mareb, longtime proprietor of the Pub Restaurant, first cousin of Margaret (Mareb) Martin of Brockton. She is also survived by two sisters-in-law Jennie A. Yarmalovicz of Brockton and Mary S. Julien of West Bridgewater.
Funeral from the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, Friday at 9am. Service of the Divine Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Theresa Maronite Catholic Church at 10am. Anne M. Kozlowski, 84, died Sunday evening while recuperating at the home of her attorney in North Easton, after a brief illness. She was married for 41 years to the late Stanley E. Kozlowski, a local hairdresser and veteran of the Battle of the Bulge, who passed away earlier this month.
Born on March 30, 1918 in Brockton, daughter of the late Joseph and Judith (Girmanos) Mareb, and sister of the late Abdella J. (Obie) Mareb, longtime owner of The Pub in Brockton. She is survived by her first cousin, Margaret Mareb Martin of Brockton; two sisters-in-law, Jennie A. Yarmalovicz of Brockton and Mary S. Julien of West Bridgewater; and second cousins, Dennis Mareb of Great Barrington, Paula Durfee of Pocasset, Edward Mareb of Centerville, Margaret Ann Morgan of Hatchville, and Frederick Mareb of Sandown, New Hampshire. She was a graduate of Sacred Heart School in Brockton, and was a communicant of St. Theresa’s Maronite Catholic Church. She maintained her home in Brockton for many years, and enjoyed Lebanese cuisine.

The funeral service will be held at St. Theresa’s Maronite Catholic Church, 343 North Main Street, Brockton, at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, January 3, 2003, followed by a committal service at Calvary Cemetery, North Cary Street, Brockton.
