Januario C. Pina, age 68 of Fall River. Husband of Luisa (Almeida)Pina. Son of the late Antone Ferreira Pina & Isabel Da Costa. Passed away in Fall River October 16, 2007. Born in Santo Antonio alem Capelas, Sao Miguel, Azores. He was a Fall River resident since 1968. He was a member of Good Shepherd Parish. Before retiring, he worked in Maintenance at Quaker Mfg.
Besides his Wife, he is survived by 1 Son: Michael Pina of Fall River. 1 Daughter: Luisa E. & Husband James Rochester of Fall River. 4 Sisters: Maria Anastacio, Olivia Roque, & Valentina Lima all of Canada, and Serifina Carvalho of Azores. 2 Grandchildren: Michael W.A. Pina, Jr. & Nicholas J. Rochester. Several nieces & nephews. He was also Brother of the late Antonio & Raul F. Pina.
His funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St. Friday at 9:00A.M. followed by a funeral mass in Good Shepherd Parish at 10:00 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick Cemetery. Calling hours Thursday 5-9.
