WORCESTER-Mary A. Joyce, 95, of Worcester, died Monday, October 15th in the Goddard Homestead. She leaves her brother John Joyce of Boston and many nephews and nieces. 2 brothers Charles J. and Thomas Joyce and a sister, Ann Parker predeceased her.
She was born in Worcester the daughter of Charles and Agnes (Sweeney) Joyce and graduated from Classical High School and Becker Junior College. Miss Joyce had been employed as a manager for Easter Seals and later as a clerk at Worcester City Hall; and was a member of St. Peter’s Church.
The funeral is Friday, October 19th, from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with a Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Peters Church, 931 Main Street. Burial will be in St. Johns Cemetery. A calling hour will be held from 8:30 until 9:30 the day of the funeral in the funeral home.
