Mr. Rodney Alan Ford, better known as "Big Daddy", was born June 28, 1966 in Madison County, Alabama to Ms. Dorothy Ford. He departed this life on Monday, October 15, 2007.
Rodney was preceded in death by his sister, Kimberly Phifer.
He leaves cherished memories to his mother, Dorothy Ford of Huntsville, Alabama; three children, Latisha Ford of Dayton, Ohio, DaRaechere Ford and Alexander Ford, both of Huntsville, Alabama; three sisters, Latunia Ford and Monica Ford and Linda Ellington, all of Huntsville, Alabama; three brothers, Travis Phifer, Casey(Wynoia) Phifer and Willie Dozier, all of Huntsville, Alabama; three uncles, Henderson (LaVenia) Ford of Mississippi, Steve (Mary) Ford of Lafayette, Indiana and Bobby Ford of Fayetteville, Tennessee; one aunt Elaine Stinnett of Huntsville, Alabama; a devoted cousin, Diane Harney and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Mr. Rodney Alan Ford will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 20, 2007 at the Briar Fork Cumberland Presbyterian Church in America with Pastor Dr. Theodis Acklin Officiating. Interment will be held in the St. Ruth Cemetery.
Mr. Ford will be available on Friday, October 19 for viewing. Mr. Ford will be placed in the church one hour prior to funeral time.
