DUDLEY– Esther E. “Cioci” Orlowski, 76, died Tuesday, October 9, in Day Kimball Hospital, Putnam.
She leaves 2 brothers, Raymond Orlowski of Dudley and Andrew Orlowski of Oceanside, CA; nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. She was preceded in death by her siblings Elizabeth “Gigna,” Chester “Chet,” Felix “Slippery,” Carl “Count,” Joseph “Butch,” Charles “Charlie,” Josephine “Jozia” and Rita.
She was born in Webster, a daughter of Stanley and Bridget (Olszta) Orlowski, and lived in Dudley since 1934.
Miss Orlowski worked as an aide at the Dempsey Regional Center in Putnam for many years, retiring in 1994. She was a member of Saint Andrew Bobola Church.
The funeral will be held Friday, October 12, from the Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School St., Webster, with a Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Andrew Bobola Church, 54 West Main Street. Burial will be in St. Joseph Garden of Peace, Webster. Calling hours will be from 7:00 to 9:00 PM Thursday, Oct. 11, in the funeral home.
