Funeral from the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street, (Rte 123) Brockton Monday at 8:45 am. Funeral Mass in St. Ann Church, Raynham at 10 am. Burial in Calvary Cemetery, Brockton. Visiting Hours Sunday 3-7 pm. In lieu of flowers donations in Mary’s memory may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
Obituary Information
Mrs. King died Thursday evening at West Acres Nursing Home, after a lengthy illness. She was born in Brockton, daughter of the late Mark and Mary (Tarpey) Fitzmaurice. She had lived in Brockton most of her life, with time spent in Matfield Woods in West Bridgewater and in Raynham. She was a graduate of St.Patrick High School, Class of 1930. Her life centered on her faith, family and friends. Former member of Irelands Own.When living in Brockton, she was an active communicant of St. Patrick Church and was a member of St. Patrick Ladies Sodality and she also attended St. Ann Church in Raynham.
She is survived by 4 daughters, Mrs. Thomas (Mary) O’Connor of Brockton; Mrs. Peter (Ann) Zimmerman of Amherst, MA; Mrs. Kevin (Frances) Jones of Raynham and Ms. Paula King of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; 10 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She was the sister of the late Nora (Fitzmaurice) Lonergan and Richard J. Fitzmaurice and stepdaughter of the late Mary (Doherty) Fitzmaurice
