SHREWSBURY – Lucille I. (Nolette) O'Brien, 87, formerly of Worcester, died Friday, October 5, 2007, at UMass Memorial, Worcester.
She leaves her husband of 10 years, Robert O’Brien; a daughter, Charlene Fearon, wife of Lol Fearon of Chester, CT; a granddaughter, Caitlin Fearon of Chester, CT; and many close friends and cousins, including Shirley Mayberry, Madelyn Vanasse, Marcia Tolman, Carol McKinistry and Rita Cooper. She was born in Leicester, daughter of Abraham and Irene (Lovely) Nolette. She graduated from Commerce High School and Becker Jr. College.
Lucille was a senior placement counselor for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Division of Unemployment. She was a member of St Anne's Church. She enjoyed ballroom dancing and playing the organ. Her kind and loving spirit will leave a lasting impression in the hearts of all who knew her.
The funeral will be held Monday, October 8, from KELLY FUNERAL HOME, 154 Lincoln St., Worcester, with a Mass at 10:30 am at St Anne's Church, 130 Boston Turnpike, Shrewsbury. Entombment will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester. Calling hours are Monday, October 8, from 8:30 to 9:30 am at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
