DRACUT - Jo-Ann I. (Pyrcz) Quigley, 58, of Dracut, died Sunday September 30, 2007 at the Lowell General Hospital. She was the loving wife of David M. Quigley to whom she was married for thirty eight years. She was the daughter of the late Alexander Pyrcz.
Mrs. Quigley was educated in Lowell schools and graduated from Lowell High School in 1967.
She was employed by the Edith Nourse Rogers VA Hospital in Bedford where she worked as a mental health secretary for thirteen years. She enjoyed ceramics, playing bingo, and crocheting. She also loved traveling to Maine with her family.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Quigley is survived by her mother, Dorothy (Betty) Pyrcz; five daughters, Kelly Marie Quigley of Dracut, Holly A. Quigley of Dracut, Paula L. Goodwin of Dracut, Angela L. Quigley of Lowell, and Shelly J. Quigley of Lowell; three brothers John Pyrcz of Lowell, James Pyrcz of Dracut, and Randy Pyrcz of Lowell; three sisters Patricia Couture of Dracut, Bernice Labrecque of Wilbraham, and Sandra Woods of Lowell; nine grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and several close friends, including Louisa Rocha of Cape Coral, FL.
Mrs. Quigley is predeceased by a brother Stephen Pyrcz and a sister Evelyn Cooper.
Friends may call at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Ave, Dracut on Wednesday from 4 until 8 PM. Her funeral service will be held from the funeral home on Thursday at 8 AM, followed by her Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 9 AM at St. Marguerite D'Youville Church in Dracut. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery in Tewksbury. Memorial contributions can be made in her name to the Edith Nourse Rogers VA Hospital, Voluntary Service, 200 Springs Road, Bedford, MA 01730.
