Mary S. Moyer, 71, of 200 Franklin St. Lakeport died December 25, 2002 in her residence after a brief illness. She was born in Ludlow VT on August 30, 1931, the daughter of Fred and Lora (Manley) Snow.
Prior to her retirement in 1996, she was employed in Human Resources by the State of New Hampshire at Laconia Developmental Services for 20 years. Mrs. Moyer was a communicant of Our Lady of the Lakes parish.
A loving wife and mother, she enjoyed traveling with her husband, John and spending time with her children and sister, Irene.
Family members include her husband of 46 years, John B. Moyer; 7 children, Matthew Moyer of New Hampshire, Gregory Moyer of Gilford, Michele Horner of Richmond NH, Michael Moyer of Belmont, Sandra O’Riordan of Laconia, Randall Moyer of Port Arthur Texas and Nicole Murray of Laconia; 13 grandchildren; a great grandson; a sister Irene V. Merrill of Rutland VT; nieces and nephews.
Calling hours were in the Simoneau & Lambert Funeral Home, 139 Church St. Monday from 7 to 9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated in Our Lady of the Lakes Church, 50 Washington St., Lakeport on Tuesday at 10 AM. Spring burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
