Goldie A. (Kennedy) Easter, 99, of Medway, died, Friday, September 28, 2007 at the Sunbridge Care & Rehabilitation for Milford. She was the wife of John C. Easter who died in 1988.
Born in Boston on December 13, 1907, she was a daughter of the late Daniel and Sara (McLeod) Kennedy. She was a resident of Medway since 1931.
Mrs. Easter had been employed as a Licensed Practical Nurse in local nursing homes for many years until her retirement in 1969.
She was a former member of the Rosalie Rebekah Lodge of Medway and attended the Community Church of West Medway.
She was mother of the late John E. Easter, F. Helen Sargent and Marjorie E. Grant.
She is survived by ten grandchildren and many great grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service on Tuesday, October 2 at 11 a.m. in the Ginley – Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber St. in Medway.
Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in West Medway.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday morning from 10 - 11 a.m.
