Obituary

Nelida F. Tellier 93, died Wednesday at the Friendly Home. She was the wife of the late Herve Tellier. Born in Manville she was a daughter of the late Alphonse and Fedora (Hubert) Marcotte, and was a North Smithfield resident most of her life.

Mrs. Tellier was employed by the former Mercy Hospital for many years and was a floor worker for Royal Robes retiring in 1972. She was a volunteer for “Meals On Wheels” for several years and was active in the weekly bingo at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Parish as well as the annual OLQM Carnival. She was a member of Les Dames de St. Anne, Ladies Guild, the OLQM Senior Citizens, the North Smithfield Sr. Citizens and AARP of Woonsocket.

She is survived by four nieces; Lucie Peloquin of Woonsocket, Simone Moore of North Smithfield, Rita Papa also of Woonsocket, and Dee Marcotte of Blackstone.

The family wishes to acknowledge the neighbors and friends who looked after her in her twilight years, especially her sister in law Alice Tellier.
Nellie was extremely grateful for all you had done.

Her funeral will be held Monday at 9:00 from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 in Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church, Park Ave. Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery, Manville.
