WORCESTER-Antoinette M. (DiRienzo) Nozzolillo, 83, of Worcester passed away Tuesday, September 25 at St. Vincent Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
Her husband of 24 years, Orlando J. Nozzolillo passed away in 1970. She was the beloved mother of Olivia M. wife of the late Stuart Chafetz of Worcester, Steven J. and his wife Gina Nozzolillo of Millbury and David M. Nozzolillo of Worcester. She also leaves her sister, Jean DiRienzo of Caledonia, NY; two grandchildren, Marc A. and Britni L. Nozzolillo and a brother-in-law, Julio Nozzolillo and his wife Kathy of Springfield. A brother, Patsy D. and her sister Olivia predeceased her.
She was born in Excelsior, W. Virginia daughter of the late Rocco and Libra (Grascia) DiRienzo. She was raised in Caledonia, New York and moved to Worcester in 1946. Her family and friends celebrate her for her generous heart, her strength of character and her compassionate soul. She was loved and admired by everyone whose lives she touched. She will always be remembered for her wonderful cooking, her beautiful gardens, her meticulous home and her love of animals.
The funeral will be Monday, October 1 from CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM at Our Lady of Loreto Church, 37 Massasoit Rd. Interment will be in St. John’s Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Sunday, September 30 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM in the funeral home.
