Alice Margaret (O’Leary) Keeley, 72, died at the Kindred Goddard Rehab. & Nursing Center in Stoughton on Sunday, September 23. She was the wife of John J. Keeley. Born and educated in Boston, Mrs. Keeley lived in South Boston and Marshfield for many years before moving to Stoughton 5 years ago. She was a homemaker. In her free time she enjoyed cooking, entertaining and spending time with her family.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Keeley is survived by her children, Mary DeVasto and her husband Robert of Brockton, Alice Higgins and her husband William of Norton, John Keeley, Jr. of Arlington and Michael Keeley and his wife Ceridwen of SC. She was the sister of James M. O’Leary of Weymouth and the late Blanche Linehan, Arthur J. O’Leary, Jr. and Paul O’Leary. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Gate of Heaven Church, 615 E. Fourth St., South Boston on Saturday, September 29 at 9 AM. Visiting Hours omitted. Donations in Alice’s name may be made to the Doug Flutie, Jr. Foundation for Autism, PO Box 767, Framingham, MA 01701. Burial will be private.
