Mary L. (D’Ambrosio) Zerella, died Tuesday at the Glen Ridge Nursing Care Center Medford. She was 100.
Mrs. Zerella was born in Boston, the daughter of the late Saverio and the late Filomena (Grieci) D´Ambrosio.
She lived in East Boston before moving to Medford 52 years ago. Mary was a Floral Designer and worked for Henry M. Robinson on Tremont St., Boston until she was 72 years old. She was recently honored by the General Court of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for having reached the age of 100 years.
Mary’s husband Michael died in 1983.She is survived by her daughter Phyllis Delli Colli of Medford, 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She also leaves one sister, Antonetta De Paulo of East Boston.
Friends may visit Friday from 4 thru 8 at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford.
Her funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Francis Of Assisi Church, Fellsway West, Medford, Saturday at 10 AM.
Burial will follow at St. Michael Cemetery, Boston.
