Beverly Allen, 70, a lifelong resident of Stoughton, died Sunday, September 23, at the Copley at Stoughton Nursing Home in Stoughton after a long illness. Born in Stoughton, she was a graduate of Stoughton Schools. Mrs. Allen was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps. She worked in the Accounting Dept at T. W. Kutter in Avon for many years, retiring in 2000. She was a member of the Amvets in Stoughton. In her free time, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and going to yard sales.
She is survived by her children, Joseph O. of Chicago, Debra A. and Diane M. both of Fall River and Jean L. Conroy of Canton. Mrs. Allen was predeceased by her brother, Joseph Leo Vigneaux, Jr. She was the grandmother of Justin Allen, Nicole Allen, Rebecca Milton, Jamie Milton and Michael Conroy, US Army. She is also survived by her dear friends Brenda and Jack Patterson of Stoughton and her dog Baby.
Funeral Prayers will be offered in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Wednesday Night, September 26 at 8 PM. Visiting Hours prior to services from 5-8 PM. Burial will be private.
