Mrs. Ann B. (Scanlon) Anderson of Andover, Massachusetts, beloved wife of the late Lt. John W. Anderson, Ret. US Colonel, died at her home in Andover on Saturday, September 22, 2007. She was 82 years old.
She was born in Andover on November 30, 1925 and was a lifelong communicant of St. Augustine Church in Andover. She was also a graduate of Punchard High School of Andover.
Mrs. Anderson will be sorely missed by her loving son and daughter-in-law; Richard W. and his wife Ann S. Anderson of Andover, two grandchildren; Sarah Anderson of Medford and Adam and his fiancée Kelly Stanmore of Seattle, Washington, two nephews and her cherished extended family.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated in St. Augustine Church, 43 Essex Street, Andover, Wednesday, September 26, 2007, at 9 AM. Many relatives and friends were in attendance. Calling hours were in the Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 390 North Main Street, Andover, Tuesday, September 25, 2007, from 4 to 7 PM. Burial was in Spring Grove Cemetery, Andover.
