James N. Sylvestre, 45, of Hooksett died October 28, 2006 after an accident.
Born in Franklin on March 30, 1961, he was the son of Kenneth and Juanita (Giguere) Sylvestre.
Jimmy grew up in Franklin surrounded by many family and friends. His days as a child were spent fishing and enjoying the outdoors.
Jim excelled at school academically and in running track. He had a natural ability in drawing, painting and selling several paintings to local businesses. Jim went on to college then began a career in quality assurance. He had been working at DEKA.
Members of his family include his wife of two years, Karen Sylvestre; two sisters, Lisa Judkins of Franklin and Melissa Dutile of Swansey; two brothers, Clifford Sylvestre of Laconia and Matthew Sylvestre of Northfield; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
IN HIS LIFE: Jim’s love of nature was enjoyed in so many ways. He was as avid year round hiker and still had time for running and biking. Jim’s art continued in photography as he had a special ability to see and appreciate all that was around him. One of his greatest loves was his Harley and he spent much time exploring what he liked to call “this beautiful State of New Hampshire”.
Jim lived his life as a journey not a destination. He was always humble and felt blessed for life. Jimmy will always be with all who knew him. Remembering Jimmy is done with our hearts as he touched all of us in this way.
Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester NH assisted the family with arrangements.
