SHREWSBURY-Roger H. Kane, Jr., 63, of Shrewsbury, formerly of Worcester died Friday, September 21st in his home. He is survived by his uncle, James F. Bergin of Shrewsbury; and several cousins.
He was born in Worcester the son of Roger H. Kane, Sr., and Mary A. (Bergin) Kane. Roger was a graduate of Worcester State College, and earned Master’s Degrees at Assumption College and Boston College in social work. He had been employed as a social worker for various Massachusetts and Connecticut social service agencies.
The funeral is Monday, September 24th at 10:00 AM in St. Christopher Church, 950 West Boylston Street. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Parkinson Foundation, Inc. 1501 NW 9th Avenue/Bob Hope Road, Miami, Florida 33136.
