Claire M. (Surprenant) Jodoin, 91, of Dartmouth died Tuesday September 18, 2007 at St. Luke's Hospital. She was the wife of the late Joseph H. Jodoin.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Domina and Aurore (Leduc) Surprenant, she lived in Framingham before returning to this area 13 years ago.
She was a communicant of St. Julie Billiart Church.
Survivors include three brothers, Conrad Surprenant of Florida, Domina Surprenant of Dartmouth, and Dr. Edgar Surprenant of Rolling Hills, California; her brother-in-law, Leo Jodoin of New Bedford; and many nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Laurier Surprenant, Rolande Payette Talbot, and Vivianne Surprenant.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 10 AM at St. Julie Billiart Church. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Visiting hours will be on Friday from 6-8 PM at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. In lieu of flowers, her family requests that Masses be offered in her memory.
