Jeannette “Jean” (Berube) Albernaz age 82 of 168 California St. Wife of James J. Albernaz. Daughter of the late Charles & Mary Louise(Levesque)Berube. Passed away in Fall River Sept. 16, 2007. Born in Fall River and a lifelong resident. She was a member of Holy Rosary Church. Before retiring, she was a Sewing Machine Operator in the local needle industry.
Besides her husband of Fall River, she is survived by 2 sons: Paul Albernaz of Tiverton & Michael Albernaz of Westport. 2 siblings: Armand Berube & Annette Dufour both of Fall River. 4 Grandchildren & several nieces & nephews. She was also sister of the late Henri, Roland, Emil & Lillian Berube, Alice Joubert & Rita Cox.
Her funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St. Wednesday at 9:30A.M. followed by a funeral mass in Holy Rosary Church at 10:30 A.M. Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours Tuesday 5-8 P.M.
