Obituary

On September 7, 2007, Dale’s courageous battle to overcome the complications of leukemia ended. Dale worked for the Home Depot for 15 years. He started in New Hampshire in 1992, moved to Colorado in 1996, and finally settled in Missoula, Montana in May of 2000. He touched the hearts of many co-workers and business associates along the way.

Dale loved Montana, the mountains, rivers, and wildlife. He was never happier than when he had a line in the water, his bike on the road, or just hanging with his “pups”. He also got tremendous satisfaction from building patios, ponds, and other structures out of Montana slate. Dale was a talented craftsman and his amazing creations will be a legacy for years to come. Those who knew Dale will remember his strong spirit, kind heart, sense of humor, and his “Kendallisims”. “Yikes-Erroneous”; we’ll miss you Bubba!

Dale is survived by his sisters: Suzanne of Mass, Patricia of Tennessee, and Kathleen of NH. His Brother: Scott & his Wife Cathy of NH; Step Daughter Karen Griffen, Grandchildren: Matthew & Alyse of Florida, Nieces Melissa, Michelle, and Danielle of NH, and his best buds: Morgan & Charlie.

Memorial visitation will be held Friday, Sept. 21 from 3-6 PM, with a memorial service at 5 PM at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main Street, Salem, NH.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Dana Farber cancer Institute, 44 Binney St, Boston, MA 02215
