Doris J. Turcotte, 89, of Main St., Woonsocket, died Wednesday at Mt. St. Francis Health Center in Woonsocket. She was the wife of the late Eugene Turcotte (late Lt., Woonsocket Police Dept.)
Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Aldea (Lanois) Theroux. She was a lifelong resident of the city.
Mrs. Turcotte worked for Miller Electric Company and the Bonin Spinning Company for many years before retiring. She was the past president of the Hanora Lipitt Manor Club.
She is survived by two sons, Theodore Lanois, and Richard Turcotte, both of Woonsocket, 6 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-granddaughter.
