METHUEN – Eileen M. (Walsh) Jones age 78 died Saturday at her home in Methuen.
Born and educated in Lawrence, MA, she attended St. Patirck’s Grammar School and was also a graduate of St. Patrick’s High School. She also attended McIntosh Business School. For more than 25 years she was a loan operations officer with the Arlington Trust Company. She was a parishioner of St. Monica’s Church in Methuen. She was an avid reader, enjoyed doing crossword puzzles. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
The widow of William B. Jones, she leaves 2 daughters, Judith A. Jones of Tacoma, WA, and Nancy E. Jones of Newburyport, MA.
1 son Jeffery W. Jones and his wife Julie of Salem, NH.
1 sister Mary G. “Gen” Walsh of Methuen, MA
1 brother-in-law Rev. Herbert Jones, O-CARM of Peabody, MA
1 sister-in-law Dr. Carol A. Regan of Methuen, MA
3 grandchildren Emily, Lindsay, and Kelsie Jones of Salem, NH
Several nieces and nephews and cousins.
ARRANGEMENTS: Memorials can be made to the Holy Family Cancer Management Center 70 East Street Methuen, MA 01844. Family and friends may call on Wednesday from 4:00p.m. – 8:00p.m. at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, Inc., 233 Lawrence Street Methuen, MA 01844. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 9:00a.m. at St. Monica’s Church in Methuen. Burial will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery also in Methuen, MA.
